Job summary

Novant Health’s Huntersville Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This full-time position supports care from phase 1 and phase 2 recovery after surgery, with emphasis on compassionate, high-quality care and patient safety.

Ideal candidates have a 4-year nursing degree, current RN licensure, and at least one year of relevant PACU or acute care experience. Relocation assistance may be available; benefits begin on day one.

  • Current RN licensure in appropriate state required.

This Full-Time role is ideal for experienced PACU RNs looking to work within a high-performing, collaborative team in surgical services.

PACU, Emergency Department and/or ICU experience strongly preferred

What You’ll Do

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care that supports accurate diagnosis and effective treatment, helping patients heal with confidence and dignity or a peaceful transition.

What We’re Looking For
  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
