Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• If RN license has been inactive for five years or more, refresher course is required before reinstatement.
• One year of PACU experience strongly preferred.

• Airway management and monitoring during recovery.
• Recover patient with vital signs within normal limits and pain controlled.

Rowan Medical Center is Novant's 4th's largest hospital with 266 beds, serving the Rowan County area since 1936. The ORs here see a variety of cases including ortho, ENT, general, and GYN. This is an ideal role for an experienced PACU RN looking to work within a high-performing, collaborative team.

What You'll Do

• Receive patients from the operating room after surgery
• Airway management
• Recover patient, ensuring vital signs are within normal limits and pain is controlled

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year of PACU experience strongly preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
