Job summary

Novant Health’s Huntersville Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN to deliver expert post-surgical care. In this full-time role, you’ll support patients recovering after surgery, from phase I to phase II, with compassionate, evidence-based practice and strong clinical judgment.

The role emphasizes teamwork with physicians and nurses, quick decision-making in a high-acuity environment, and a commitment to safe patient transitions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• 4-year/bachelor's degree, or equivalent, preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state is required.
• One year of relevant experience is preferred.

What We Offer

From prep and recovery in both phase 1 and phase 2, your clinical skill, judgment, and adaptability will help drive safe, compassionate care where it matters most.

This Full-Time role is ideal for experienced PACU RNs looking to work within a high-performing, collaborative team in surgical services.

PACU, Emergency Department and/or ICU experience strongly preferred

What You’ll Do

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care that supports accurate diagnosis and effective treatment, helping patients heal with confidence and dignity or a peaceful transition.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
