Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is hiring a Registered Nurse. You will provide nursing care to admitted patients, coordinate plans, and assist with discharge planning and family teaching under supervision of Nursing leadership.

Current RN licensure in the state is required; BLS certification is mandatory, and ACLS certification must be obtained within 90 days. Growth opportunities exist within a multi-location healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Holds current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides; compact licensure if applicable.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and patient/family teaching.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
