Bighorn Ridgerunners, LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week outpatient assignment at Piñon Health Center on the Navajo Nation in Northern Arizona. The role provides $70/hour with housing provided and weekly pay.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 0800–1800, with some longer hours; clinic is closed on federal holidays. Local nurses are encouraged to apply and housing is provided for relocating staff.

Formación

• 36 months of nursing experience, including outpatient/urgent care.
• Degree or diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted RN licence in the U.S.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Valid state driver’s license and professional liability insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Provide outpatient nursing care across clinics (Outpatient, Women's Health, Pediatric, Urgent Care).
• Assess patients, carry out care plans, administer medications, and document care in the EHR.
• Educate patients and families on prevention and follow-up care.
• Rotate to Chinle facility as needed; travel in government vehicle.
• Collaborate with a care team serving AI/AN communities.

Registered Nurse – Outpatient Clinic Piñon Health Center · Navajo Nation, Northern Arizona 13-week contract · $70/hour · Housing provided

Bighorn Ridgerunners, LLC is a Native American–owned healthcare staffing company that places nurses with the Indian Health Service. We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses for 13-week outpatient assignments at Piñon Health Center, part of the Chinle Service Unit of the Navajo Area Indian Health Service.

Local nurses from the Navajo Nation and surrounding communities are strongly encouraged to apply. For nurses relocating to the area, housing is provided and paid through Bighorn.

What you'll do

• Provide outpatient nursing care across Outpatient, Women's Health, Pediatric and Urgent Care clinics
• Assess patients, carry out care plans, give medications and treatments, and document care in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on prevention, treatment and follow-up care
• Rotate to Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility when needed, travelling by government vehicle
• Work with a care team serving American Indian and Alaska Native patients and communities

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 0800–1800, with a one-hour lunch; Thursdays 1300–1800
• 40 hours per week, with occasional longer hours when patient load requires
• 13 continuous weeks, with potential for extension
• Clinic is closed on federal holidays

Pay and benefits

• $70.00 per hour for all hours worked, including any overtime
• Paid weekly by direct deposit
• Housing provided for nurses relocating to the area

Requirements

• 36 months of nursing experience, including at least 12 months in outpatient, ambulatory, urgent care or ER nursing
• Degree or diploma from an accredited nursing program
• Active, unrestricted RN licence in any U.S. state, DC, Puerto Rico or a U.S. territory
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
• Valid state driver's licence
• Professional liability insurance ($1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate)
• Fitness-for-duty physical from a licensed physician
• Immunization records: annual influenza vaccination (mandatory), Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B (series, immunity or signed declination), MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and a current TB test (2-step TST, QuantiFERON or T-Spot)
• Ability to pass a federal background investigation, including fingerprinting and a child care background check
• Strong English communication skills, basic computer skills, and respect for the local American Indian and Alaska Native culture
