Job summary

MidState Medical Center, part of Hartford HealthCare, is actively hiring Orthopedic Registered Nurses for our inpatient units, offering opportunities to practice at the top of your license.

We operate 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, with every third weekend and holiday 7p-7a. Benefits include tuition reimbursement after 6 months (up to 40% with Quinnipiac University for colleagues and dependents), a nurse residency program, onsite parking, and supportive staffing ratios.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• One-year recent Acute-Care RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide orthopedic nursing care to patients.
• Assess patients and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort at all times.
