Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is actively hiring ICU Registered Nurses at MidState Medical Center. Positions require a CT RN license within 90 days of hire, a graduate of an accredited nursing program, and BLS certification.

Experience in acute care is preferred, with opportunities to participate in an ICU Nurse Residency program. Locations include 435 Lewis Avenue, with shifts available; 3 shifts per week and weekend/holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to manage critically ill patients.

Shift Detail: 3 shifts a week from 6:45a-7:15pm. Every third weekend and holiday in the intensive care unit.
