Job summary

MidState Medical Center in Connecticut, part of Hartford HealthCare, is actively hiring Oncology Registered Nurses for night shifts. You will deliver high-quality care in oncology units, using evidence-based practices and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates must hold CT RN license within 90 days of hire, be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, have BLS certification, and ideally 1 year of acute care experience; graduates welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Connecticut RN license required within 90 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred, however Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide oncology patient care on the units, applying evidence-based practices and clinical judgment.
• Participate in Oncology Nurse Residency and ongoing learning opportunities.
• Support top-of-license practice and collaborate with the care team to ensure patient-centered outcomes.

Shift Detail: 7p-7a 3 shifts per week, every third weekend, rotating holidays
