This job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. It involves effectively delegating, directing, and assisting team members; assuming accountability for quality patient outcomes; demonstrating sensitivity to diversity; supporting strategic goals; and maintaining professional responsibility.
