Ardent Health Services is seeking a night shift, full-time Registered Nurse for the Orthopedic Unit in Pocatello, Idaho. The RN credentialed candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting to support our Portneuf Medical Center team.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Idaho RN licensure, and BLS. ACLS within one year of hire is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• ACLS within one year of hire date and maintain as current

• Respond to life threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions
• Organize care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with all necessary Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols. The RN responds to life threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions. The RN organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with all necessary Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis.
