Job summary

Portneuf Medical Center in Idaho is seeking a night shift, part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care in the Orthopedic Unit. The RN will deliver care using the nursing process, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with the care team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN license in Idaho, BLS within 14 days of hire, and ACLS within one year. Preferred: 1+ year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS within one year of hire date and maintain as current.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per hospital policies and protocols.
• Respond to life-threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions.
• Organize care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with providers and leaders.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.The RN responds to life threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions.The RN organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with all necessary Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis.
