Job summary

Portneuf Health in Pocatello, ID is seeking a Night Shift Orthopedic Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The RN will deliver care using the nursing process, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes. Idaho licensure and BLS/ACLS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies and protocols.
• Respond to life-threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions.
• Organize care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with providers/leaders.

Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.The RN responds to life threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions.The RN organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with all necessary Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho.

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

• Obtain ACLS within one year of hire date and maintain as current.
