Mass General Brigham is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Main Operating Room located in Boston, Massachusetts. This full-time position involves 36 hours of work per week, primarily within a collaborative team providing care for ophthalmology and otolaryngology patients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong nursing education, a minimum of 2 years of experience, and excellent observational and interpersonal skills. The position requires rotating shifts and offers a pay range of $40.50 – $100.13 per hour.

The Registered Nurse position is located in our Main Operating Room, a full‑time, 36 hours per week role. Shifts are Monday through Friday, typically two 8‑hour and two 10‑hour shifts at the main campus on Charles St Boston. The RN maintains professional nursing practice standards, demonstrates competence in patient care, and uses the nursing process (continuous assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation, and education). The RN directs and guides ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of nursing practice. The RN works collaboratively with interns, residents, fellows, and attending physicians, caring for ophthalmology and otolaryngology patients in a 12‑room main OR. Excellent observational skills, prioritization, stress management and interpersonal communication are required.
