Job summary

Lineage Health Care Consulting in Joliet, Illinois is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will provide direct nursing care to residents, supervise nursing assistants, and help maintain a calm, positive environment.

Shifts available are 7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm. Requirements include an active Illinois RN or LPN license and CPR certification; long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN or LPN in Illinois
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to make independent decisions and be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures
• Current CPR Certification
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred

Responsibilities

• Execute the day-to-day functions of RN or LPN, plan services with assigned staff, and make written and oral reports as required
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents, provide leadership to nursing personnel, and complete required record-keeping forms
• Administer medications and perform routine charting in accordance with policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with inter-departmental personnel and create a positive atmosphere throughout the unit
• Administer professional services, monitor personnel to ensure safety regulations are followed, and maintain confidentiality of resident care information
