Responsibilities

The OR Nurse functions as Circulator/Scrub Nurse in the Operating Room, providing individualized patient care aligned with hospital policies and professional standards. The Ambulatory OR handles same-day surgeries, including complex cases across multiple surgical disciplines, promoting high-quality, efficient care that allows patients to recover safely at home.

Qualifications

• Current active CT RN License
• Previous OR experience required (new graduates may apply to the Transition to Practice Program)
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification required at hire
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• CNOR certification preferred
