Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, day-shift position to support our clinical teams. Eligible clinicians may earn a salary progression through the Clinical Ladder, with sign-on up to $12,500 and relocation assistance for qualifying candidates.

The role requires RN licensure, an associate degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred), and experience in acute care. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer meds, educate families, and document care

Qualifications

• Demonstrated nursing knowledge and competency in patient care.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities within a clinical setting.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

Job Description:

Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn salary increases of up to 20% through our Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, professional development, and achievement of advancement criteria. Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines. Up to $12,500 Sign-on Bonus and $3,000 Relocation Assistance available to eligible candidates (see terms below)

Terms: 12-month Full-time Employment Contract Required for Sign-On and Relocation Sign-on Eligibility: One (1) year of applicable experience Internal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible Relocation Eligibility: Must live 50 miles outside of campus address Rehires that are less than 12 months from separation date are not eligible

Primary Job Responsibilities:
