Job summary

Frisco Medical Center LLP is seeking a Surgical Registered Nurse to support perioperative care for patients undergoing operative and invasive procedures. You will guide non-licensed staff and provide skilled nursing across pediatric to geriatric patients.

The role requires an active Texas RN license, BLS, and at least one year of OR experience. Ready-to-work, independent clinicians are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum one year of previous OR experience required.
• Texas RN license required.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
• Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to operating room nurses.
• Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills across pediatric to geriatric patients.

This position has a $15,000 Sign-on bonus.

A Surgical Registered Nurse is responsible for nursing activities related to the care of patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures. The Registered Nurse is a resource person and guides non-licensed personnel. The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including older adults, as well as geriatric and pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence.
