Job summary

Sidney Regional Medical Center is seeking a Surgical OR Circulator Registered Nurse to join our surgery department. This role delivers individualized nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures across OR, PACU, Pre-Op, and Endoscopy settings.

EOE; Full-Time with rotating hours. Must hold Nebraska RN license, and obtain BLS, PALS, and ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Prefer one year of Operating Room experience.
• Must hold Nebraska RN license; BLS, PALS and ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical intervention in OR, PACU, Pre-Op, and Endoscopy.
• Oversee safe and effective care of patients in the Operating room.
• Assist and support the anesthesia provider, surgeon, and surgical tech during perioperative period.

Education & Experience:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience: Prefer one year of Operating Room experience.
• Required Licensure/Certification: Must have a current and valid license by the State of Nebraska as a Registered Nurse. BLS, PALS and ACLS within 6 months.
