Job summary

Sidney Regional Medical Center in Sidney, Nebraska is seeking a Surgical OR Circulator Registered Nurse to join our surgery team. You will assist the surgeon during operative cases and related procedures, ensuring safe and effective perioperative care.

The position is full-time with varying hours and rotating call. Requires Nebraska RN license; BLS, PALS and ACLS within 6 months; prior OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Prefer one year of Operating Room experience.
• Must have a Nebraska RN license with BLS, PALS and ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical intervention in OR, PACU, Pre-Op, and Endoscopy.
• Oversee safe, effective care of patients in the Operating room.
• Assist and support the anesthesia provider, surgeon, and surgical tech during perioperative care.

About this position

Sidney Regional Medical Center is in search of a Surgical OR Circulator Registered Nurse position to be filled within our surgery department. This position is responsible for assisting surgeons during surgical cases and other medical procedures.

Education & Experience:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience: Prefer one year of Operating Room experience.
• Required Licensure/Certification: Must have a current and valid license by the State of Nebraska as a Registered Nurse. BLS, PALS and ACLS within 6 months.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible and accountable for delivery of individualized nursing care to patients having surgical intervention in OR, PACU, Pre-Op, and Endoscopy room.
