UT Health Tyler is seeking a weekend shift, full-time Surgery (OR) Registered Nurse to join our operating room team in Tyler, TX.

The RN provides direct patient care using the nursing process before and during procedures, ensuring safety and high quality in a fast-paced surgical suite.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame before and during a surgical procedure.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Must maintain current Texas RN License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Preferred Job Requirements

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified
• Recent surgery experience
