Lowell General Hospital is seeking an RN II to provide direct nursing care in the Operating Room on the Main Campus. This role supports a 36-hour week with Day/Evening shifts, in a 24/7 OR setting with thirteen surgical rooms and a pediatric room.
The candidate will have MA RN licensure, BLS, and preferably a BSN; 1–2 years telemetry or intermediate care experience is preferred; ACLS encouraged. Join a Magnet-recognized team delivering high-quality perioperative care.
The RN II independently provides direct nursing care to patients and their families in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices.

Unit Summary: Our Main Operating Room is staffed 24/7 to accommodate surgery at any time. The OR suite is made up of thirteen surgical rooms including a dedicated pediatric room and orthopedic suites. The recovery area has twelve bays and a specialized peri-operative nursing team to provide close monitoring of patients during the recovery process.

Pay Range: $37.50 - $75.32 based on full-time equivalent
