Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center's Operating Room is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the OR team in Charlotte, NC. The RN will coordinate and deliver comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safety and health standards are met across the care continuum.

The role requires a nursing program completion, an active RN license in the practicing state, and BLS certification; prior operating room experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred for this position.

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Where You Will Work:

CMC serves as the region's only Level 1 trauma center and is an approved transplant center for heart, kidney, pancreas and liver. We also serve as one of North Carolina's 5 Academic Medical Center Teaching Hospitals, providing residency training for more than 200 physicians in 15 specialties and serve as a regional campus for Wake Forest University School of Medicine, based in Winston-Salem, NC.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

• Previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred for this position
