Job summary

Texas Health Denton, part of Texas Health Resources, is hiring a Registered Nurse – RN – Operating Room for a full-time day shift from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with call responsibilities. The role requires a Nursing Diploma or ADN (BSN preferred), plus 1 year of OR experience and RN licensure on hire.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or ADN required; BSN preferred.
• 1 year RN experience or completion of an RN residency program required.
• RN licensure required upon hire; BCLS prior to independent care and ACLS within 90 days.

Here’s What You Need

• Nursing Diploma required OR
• Associate's Degree Nursing required OR
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
• 1 year operating room experience highly preferred
• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required AND
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required AND
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required
