Job summary

Texas Health Arlington Memorial seeks an experienced RN to join the Operating Room. This full-time position involves 36 hours per week over 3 12-hour day shifts, with call requirements. Requires nursing licensure and OR experience as well as ACLS/BCLS certifications.

Qualifications

  • Nursing Diploma or higher required; CLIAFE compliance per regulations.
  • 1 year RN experience required; prior OR experience preferred.
  • RN on hire and BCLS/ACLS certifications required; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to patients' priorities regarding safety and care.
  • Collaborate with the care team to plan and implement patient care.
  • Engage with patients and families to support care decisions.

Here’s What You Need
Qualifications
  • Nursing Diploma required OR
  • Associate's Degree Nursing required OR
  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
  • CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
  • 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • Previous OR experience preferred
  • RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required AND
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required AND
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required AND
  • CNOR – Certified Operating Room Nurse upon hire preferred
