Job summary

Proforma Health Inc. in Avondale, AZ seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Operating Room team. You will provide perioperative care across pre-op, intraoperative, and post-op phases.

Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, documentation, patient advocacy, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality care. Minimum 2 years OR experience, BSN or accredited program, active RN license, BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and RN license.
• Minimum 2 years OR experience in acute care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CNOR and PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative care, including pre-op assessments and post-op evaluations.
• Administer medications, manage specimens, and ensure patient safety.
• Develop individualized care plans and document all activities.
• Communicate effectively within the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in performance improvement and act as patient advocate.

Role & Responsibilities:

Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative care, including pre-op assessments, intraoperative assistance, and post-op evaluations. Develop individualized care plans, adhere to safety protocols to prevent errors, administer medications, manage specimens, and maintain critical system functions to ensure patient safety. Promote patient education, dignity, privacy, and cultural competence. Document all activities accurately and communicate effectively within the interdisciplinary team. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and serve as a patient advocate.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of 2 years OR experience in acute care, Bachelor's degree in Nursing or from an accredited program, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred: experience with trauma, neuro, spine, ortho, or vascular surgeries; CNOR and PALS certifications.

This role offers a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 based on eligibility.
