Job summary

MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center in Maryland is seeking experienced OR RNs with 1+ year of OR experience. The position offers full-time days with four 10-hour shifts plus call (7a–5p) or 36 hours across two 8s and two 10s plus call, with 3–4 calls in a 6-week period including at least one night or weekend on call.

Requirements include ADN/BSN/MSN or CNL, active MD RN license or Compact State license, and BLS; CNOR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and BLS required.
• CNOR preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience required; 2+ years OR RN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open to OR RN experience in a state-of-the-art surgical pavilion.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in OR settings.
• Work full-time days with on-call requirements per schedule.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.


• 1 year of RN experience required; 2+ years of OR RN experience preferred; open to PreOp, PACU or Outpatient Surgery RN experience.


• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross). CNOR preferred.

This position has a hiring range of

USD $36.50 - USD $60.34 /Hr.
