Job summary

MedStar Montgomery Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the Operating Room. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week on day shifts (a mix of three eight-hour and one twelve-hour shifts or three twelve-hour shifts) with call requirements. PRN positions are also available.

You will provide skilled, compassionate care across a range of procedures, with OR experience and an active RN license required. Comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance are offered by MedStar Health.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Operating Room experience required.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

• As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs from routine to highly complex.
• You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
• Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.

About the Job

MedStar Montgomery Medical Center has seven Operating Rooms, plus an Endo room. Our specialty cases include Ortho, General, Gastroenterology, Ortho Spine/Neuro, GYN, Robotic surgeries includes General & GYN, Urological, Plastic and Vascular procedures. Operating teams are trained to do all specialty cases including ENDO as well. Positions Available:

• Full-time: 36 hours per week, Day Shift (combination of three eight-hour and one twelve-hour shifts or three twelve-hour shifts) with call requirements
• PRN

This position has a hiring range of USD $36.50 - USD $60.34 /Hr.
