Job summary

Delray Medical Center, part of the Palm Beach Health Network, seeks an OR/Surgical Services RN for full-time daytime shifts. You will deliver nursing care pre- and post-operatively, collaborate with physicians, anesthesia and the care team, and ensure patient-centered outcomes.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to care standards, and opportunities for professional growth within a major trauma and orthopedic service environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active Florida RN license.
• BLS certification required; PALS encouraged; CNOR not required.
• Preferred BSN degree and prior OR nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia and health team to plan patient care.
• Deliver clinical nursing care using the nursing process for surgical patients.
• Assist in perioperative care and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Job Summary

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

The Surgical Services RN works collaboratively with physicians, anesthesia personnel, and other health team members to determine the patient’s individual needs preoperatively and is responsible and accountable for the delivery of clinical nursing care and utilization of the nursing process.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

• Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Preferred: BSN
  

EXPERIENCE

• Prior clinical experience in area of expertise preferred.
  

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION

• Current Florida RN license, AHA BLS Certification, PALS
  

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• CNOR Certification Preferred.
