Job summary

Shriners Children's Ohio is seeking a dedicated full-time Operating Room RN to join a team that cares for pediatric patients undergoing surgery. You will provide nursing care, perform assessments, and assist physicians to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The role requires a BSN (or in progress), an Ohio RN license, and at least 2 years of OR experience; CNOR is preferred. Compensation is based on experience and equity within the department.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery.
• A ssists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and to provide continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.

Required Qualifications

• BSN degree required or in progress
• Ohio RN license
• 2+ years OR experience

Preferred Qualifications

• CNOR highly preferred
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus

Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
