Job summary

Shriners Children's in Ohio is seeking a full-time Operating Room RN to join a team dedicated to improving children's lives. The role provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the OR, with emphasis on safety, assessments, and interventions during surgery.

The position requires a BSN (or in progress) and an Ohio RN license, with 2+ years of OR experience. CNOR is highly preferred, and pediatric acute care or laser experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Ohio RN license.
• 2+ years OR experience.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and to provide continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
