Job summary

Atrium Health Lake Norman Operating Room in Cornelius, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a dedicated 4-bed OR team delivering high-quality surgical care across specialties.

As an RN you will coordinate patient care from pre-op to recovery, using evidence-based practice and strong communication to ensure safety and exceptional patient experience. Collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia is essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• 1 year of OR experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Expectations We’re Looking For

Completion

Registered Nurse- Atrium Health Lake Normal Operating Room

• of an accredited or approved program in nursing


• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices


• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association


• 1 year of OR experience as a RN strongly preferred
