Job summary

Hartford HealthCare’s MidState Medical Center is actively hiring Oncology Registered Nurses (RN) for our Oncology units across multiple hours and shifts. Current CT RN license within 90 days of hire is required, along with graduation from an accredited nursing program and BLS certification.

Graduate nurses are encouraged to apply and may enter our Oncology Residency program. We offer student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, and supportive staffing.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred, however Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide oncology nursing care to patients across units at MidState Medical Center.
• Support residency and ongoing clinical instruction for Oncology Nurses.
