Floyd Healthcare Management, Inc is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Medical Oncology Unit. The 18-bed acute care environment focuses on care of patients undergoing oncology treatment and supportive services.

You will coordinate comprehensive patient care, utilize evidence-based practice, and collaborate across teams to ensure safe, therapeutic care and the best patient experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.

Where You Will Work:

Join our dynamic and collaborative Medical Oncology Unit, an 18-bed acute care environment specializing in the care of patients undergoing oncology treatment. Our team provides high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, supportive setting.

Primary Patient Population:

• Oncology patients
• Comfort Care / End of Life / Hospice / Palliative Care patients

Primary Patient Population:

• General medical/surgical patients requiring acute care

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
