Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Float Pool, providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care across multiple departments on our main campus and sister facilities. The role requires a nursing program completion and an active RN license in the state of practice.

BLS and ACLS certifications are required, with two years of bedside hospital experience preferred. This position emphasizes collaboration, patient safety, and professional growth within a dynamic care

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS & ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Two years of hospital bedside care experience preferred.

As part of the Float Pool, team members are expected to float to all departments within the main campus as well as our sister facilities. Assignments are based on individual experience, skill sets, and credentials to ensure the best fit and highest standard of care.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
