Job summary

University Hospitals in Ohio is seeking a registered nurse to support our East Regions—Tripoint, Lake West, Portage, Ahuja and Geauga locations. The role involves implementing the nursing process and delivering relationship-based care, with hours from 7 am to 5:30 pm across four to ten hour days.

Applicants must hold Ohio RN licensure; a BSN is preferred and BLS certification is required or obtained during orientation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio required.
• Professional Certification from approved organization preferred.
• Current BLS Provider Certification required or obtained during Nursing Orientation.

A Brief Overview

Hours:

7 am to 530 pm work 4 - 10 hour days.

On Call Requirements:

Saturday 930 p to 7 am Sunday call is 24 rotating depending on staffing levels but you are the back up for Sundays Get paid $3 an hour for call and then Time and half when you would com in.

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.

• Complies with all policies and standards.
• For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
