Job summary

Nacogdoches Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in the Women’s Center and Pediatric areas. The role emphasizes collaboration with the medical staff and adherence to hospital policies while supporting professional growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Minimum Experience: RN with minimum of 1 year Nursing experience required
• Required Certification: BLS & NRP Required; ACLS preferred - must have within 3 months of hire
• Required Licensure: Valid Texas RN license

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Uphold policies, safety, and quality of care.
• Demonstrate competency in assessing and addressing patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Assist in emergency response and maintain a safe patient environment.

The Registered Nurse renders professional nursing care to patients assigned in the Women's Center / Pediatric Area, in support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. Work encompasses direct and indirect care, patient care, and collaboration with other disciplines involved in the provision of care.
