Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am). Compensation is up to $56 per hour with weekend differential and a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

The role includes comprehensive orientation, education benefits, and a clinical ladder program to grow your skills. The RN will perform admissions/ transfers, patient assessments, accurate documentation, and patient/family counseling, with ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• BLS required at hire
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• Clinical experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing patient assessment
• Timely documentation in electronic systems
• Interpret labs and telemetry data
• Transcribe and process medical orders
• Respond to code events (Rapid Response/Code)
• Counsel patients and families
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• Clinical experience
