Job summary

Care Initiatives in Iowa is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate nursing care in a skilled nursing environment across our 40+ communities. Full-Time and Part-Time 6PM-6AM shifts.

You will administer medications, monitor residents, collaborate with CNAs, LPNs and providers, document care, and ensure regulatory compliance. Iowa RN license and CPR certification required.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing and active in Iowa.
• CPR certification current and valid.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
• Commitment to patient-centered care with empathy and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit to ensure quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, providers and other team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical and regulatory standards.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing. License must be valid within the state of Iowa, or ability to activate.
