Job summary

Southeast Behavioral Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate and evaluate patient care with the health team in a psychiatric setting. The RN should be licensed in Missouri and have CPR certification; two years' psychiatric experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, adhering to nursing standards, and participating in a multi-disciplinary team. Night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM are available with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required.
• Experience: two (2) years in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Licensure: Missouri State Board of Nursing in good standing.
• Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Handle with Care training within 90 days of employment.

POSITION SUMMARY:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 30 days of employment. Successful completion of Handle with Care training and Service Excellence Training within 90 days of employment. Certifications may be obtained during new hire orientation.
