Job summary

St. Andrew Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center in Tampa, FL, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate and deliver resident care in a skilled nursing setting.

You will lead an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, person-centered services and promote safety and teamwork. Ideal candidates hold an associate degree or higher in nursing, have an active RN license, and bring strong clinical assessment and leadership skills to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in nursing.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Long-term Care/skilled Nursing Experience Preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and support a team in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
• Provide and oversee nursing care, including medications and clinical interventions.
• Lead and support LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs; ensure safe delegation and follow-through.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social services for care and discharge planning.
• Communicate changes in condition and education needs to residents and families.
• Ensure timely documentation and participate in quality improvement and regulatory activities.
• Promote safety, teamwork, and resident-centered care.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for overall coordination and delivery of resident care, leading the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, person-centered services in our skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive and focused assessments and develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
• Provide and oversee direct nursing care, including treatments, medication administration, and clinical interventions.
• Lead and support LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs, ensuring safe delegation and follow-through.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social services, and other disciplines to coordinate resident care and discharge planning.
• Communicate with residents and families regarding care plans, changes in condition, and education needs.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation and participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance activities.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Tennessee.
