Job summary

Blue Springs Wellness & Rehabilitation in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse to render nursing care within the scope of practice, physician orders, and center policies. You will work the 6:00 PM–6:00 AM shift on a full-time schedule and join a welcoming staff committed to patient care.

The role involves charting and incident reporting, narcotic counting, documentation of patient changes, and rounds with physicians.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Missouri (practicing state).
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedures for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents changes in patient conditions including nutrition, infections, skin issues, and weight loss.
• Uses the Quality Life Manual for patient placement and monitoring.
• Documents and notifies departments of room changes, LOA, admissions, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

• Documents any change in patient's conditions including but not limited to nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss or any other noticeable changes.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
