Job summary

Tucson Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week NICU seasonal assignment. You will join a compassionate care team, providing high-quality patient care within the NICU and across Medical‑Surgical units as needed.

This seasonal role offers a family-style atmosphere, competitive pay, and a travel stipend for employees living more than 100 miles from Tucson. Educational requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and active Arizona RN

Qualifications

• Graduation from a qualified, nationally-accredited nursing program.
• Licensed or certified in Arizona; 2+ years of recent relevant RN experience required.
• Current AZ RN licensure and BLS certification; ACLS and PALS may be required for certain departments.

• Provide nursing care in the NICU and Medical-Surgical units as assigned.

Unit Information:

Hiring in all Medical Surgical Units including Adult Medical Surgical, Neuro, Ortho, and Cardiac

Requirements:

Education: Graduation from a qualified, nationally-accredited nursing program.

Experience: Licensed and/or certified in the state of Arizona, minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience in the area of interest.

Licensure or certification: Current RN licensure permitting work in the State of Arizona and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Some departments such as OR, Ambulatory Surgery, Pediatrics/PICU, PACU, and GI Lab will require advanced life support certification (ACLS and PALS).

*Current employees are not eligible. Previous employees must have not been employed at Tucson Medical Center for a minimum of 1 calendar year. Previous seasonal employees must have not been employed at Tucson Medical Center for a minimum of 6 months.
