Job summary

TMC HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week seasonal assignment in various Medical Surgical units, including Adult Medical Surgical, Neuro, Ortho, and Cardiac. This role supports a non-profit hospital system in Southern Arizona alongside a compassionate care team.

Education and Arizona RN licensure with BLS are required; ACLS/PALS may be needed for certain departments. Seasonal employees must be willing to travel within the region and meet program criteria.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a qualified, nationally-accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Arizona and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Some departments may require ACLS and PALS.

Requirements

Education: Graduation from a qualified, nationally-accredited nursing program.

Experience: Licensed and/or certified in the state of Arizona, minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience in the area of interest.

Licensure or certification: Current RN licensure permitting work in the State of Arizona and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Some departments such as OR, Ambulatory Surgery, Pediatrics/PICU, PACU, and GI Lab will require advanced life support certification (ACLS and PALS).

* Current employees are not eligible. Previous employees must have not been employed at Tucson Medical Center for a minimum of 1 calendar year. Previous seasonal employees must have not been employed at Tucson Medical Center for a minimum of 6 months.
