Portneuf Medical Center, Inc. in Pocatello, ID is seeking a Night Shift, Part-Time NICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will provide expert neonatal care, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and ensure patient safety.

Ideal candidate will have graduation from accredited nursing program, Idaho RN license, BLS, NRP, STABLE; PALS preferred for Life Flight; at least two years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Idaho.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• NRP certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
• STABLE certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
• PALS certification preferred if Life Flight Team is assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Respond to life-threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions.
• Organize care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis.

Education

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Obtain NRP certification within six months of hire.
• Obtain STABLE certification within six months of hire.
• Current PALS certification preferred if assigned on Life Flight Team.
