Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a skilled RN to provide and coordinate comprehensive neonatal patient care in the NICU, following the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.

The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, at least 6 months RN experience, and an active RN license in the state; BLS certification is required and NRP is recommended within 6 months of hire to align with policy.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience; this position is not for new grads.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) recommended within 6 months of hire or per local/site policy.

Where You Will Work:

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU):

Provides specialized nursing care for critically ill and premature newborns requiring advanced monitoring, respiratory support, and complex interventions. Nurses collaborate with neonatologists, APP's and interdisciplinary teams to deliver family-centered care in a high-acuity environment.

Expectations We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new grads
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
