Select Specialty Hospital - Memphis East is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for new graduates. This full-time night shift (7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.) offers a starting pay of $36.31 per hour and a $15,000 sign-on bonus. The location is Memphis, TN.

The facility provides a structured 10-13 week orientation with a dedicated preceptor, along with scholarship support for BSN, tuition reimbursement, continuing education, and a clinical ladder.

Responsibilities

• collaborates with the physician and preceptor to implement the assessment plan and follow-up of care for the patient population.
• Performs ongoing systematic assessment of physical, emotional, social, educational and functional needs of patients and families.
• Interprets assessment data to develop a nursing care plan with goals and discharge planning.
• Participates as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in rehabilitation goals planning and evaluation.
• Ensures medical records are complete, accurate and timely.

• In collaboration with the physician and their preceptor, you will assure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.
• Initiating an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational and functional needs of the patients/families.
• Interpreting assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan which contains problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long term goals and discharge planning.
• Participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
• Assuring that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate and timely.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited program for registered nursing.
• Valid State RN License required.
• BLS required at hire.
• Must have flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the program
