Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Neuroscience Unit on a 12 Hour Night Shift. You will monitor patients, respond to changes in clinical status, and assist with acute treatment while encouraging rehabilitation.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, CT RN licensure, and BLS certification. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN graduate preferred.
• Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
• Certification: BLS required.

At Saint Francis Hospital the Neuroscience Unit provides multidisciplinary care to patients with neurological conditions such as acute stroke, transient ischemic attacks, seizure disorders & epilepsy.

What you will do

• In this critical Registered Nurse RN role you will monitor, record and respond to patients’ clinical status.
• Assisting with hyperacute and acute treatment and support and encourage rehabilitation.

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• BSN graduate preferred.
• Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.

Hourly Staff RN position; pay range: $36.15 – $59.95/hour

Pay is based on working RN experience only. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Unit Based Specialty pay available for experienced nurses with one or more years of RN experience
