Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuroscience Unit. The position involves monitoring and responding to patients’ clinical status, assisting with hyperacute and acute treatment, and supporting rehabilitation efforts.

The role requires RN licensure in Connecticut, BLS certification, and a BSN is preferred. Night shift, full-time schedule with 36 hours per week in a 12-hour night rotation.

Qualifications

• BSN graduate preferred.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.

Position Purpose

At Saint Francis Hospital the Neuroscience Unit provides multidisciplinary care to patients with neurological conditions such as acute stroke, transient ischemic attacks, seizure disorders & epilepsy.

What you will do

In this critical Registered Nurse RN role you will monitor, record and respond to patients’ clinical status. Assisting with hyperacute and acute treatment and support and encourage rehabilitation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN graduate preferred.
• Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
• Certification: BLS required.

Hourly Staff RN position; pay range: $36.15 – $59.95/hour Pay is based on working RN experience only. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location. Unit Based Specialty pay available for experienced nurses with one or more years of RN experience
