Job summary

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Neuro-Tele Medical Surgical Team. You will work three 12-hour shifts weekly from 07:00 to 19:30, including weekends and holidays, providing coordinated patient care.

You will use evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to create a safe patient environment and positive experience across the continuum. A valid RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Current RN license in the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care and lead with evidence-based practice to ensure patient safety and experience.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
