Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital in Temecula, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical team. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care, ensure accurate assessments, and support discharge planning.

The ideal candidate holds an active California RN license, completion of an accredited nursing program, and is BLS and ACLS certified. Prior medical-surgical experience is preferred; we offer growth and comprehensive benefits.

Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

The Registered Nurse on Med Surg Tele is responsible for providing care that is respectful and responsive to the patient’s values in clinical decision making. Performs completely and accurately including, but not limited to, physical (i.e. assessment for pain, skin breakdown, risk for falls), psychological (i.e. cognitive and communicative skills or development), social status and other patient needs. Identifies and prioritizes the need for further assessment based on the patient’s clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, desire for care and responses to any previous care. The Registered Nurse is responsible for initiating discharge planning for each patient upon admission as appropriate as well as accurately documenting and keeping record.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current California RN license
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• One (1) year medical/surgical experience in an acute care facility preferred
• Current BLS & ACLS certification (AHA)
